An Otherworldly Group of Mallrats.

Dedmal Collective started out as a group of creative Portland friends that met once a week at the Lloyd Center Mall to talk, commiserate, and keep each other company in general. Part of this routine was browsing our home base, and we noticed that the Lloyd had a lot of indie art pop ups and projects. It got us thinking... what if we could reach out to the community with our talented group of pals?

A year later, with a grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council, we have planted the seeds of a minority-run coworking art studio and collective to uplift, showcase, and find work for our members. With help and additional funding, our goal is to uplift other marginalized artists in the Pacific Northwest.

Currently, we're coordinating our first space and reaching out to partners who are interested in learning about our mission and supporting local, marginalized artists. If that sounds like you, reach out and we'd love to chat.

Keep an eye out and stay tuned for what we’re doing next!
